Product Overview
The IXYS DSEI 8-06A and DSEI 8-06AS are Fast Recovery Epitaxial Diodes (FRED) designed for high-reliability circuit operation. These diodes feature planar passivated chips, very short recovery times, and extremely low switching losses, making them ideal for antiparallel diode applications in high-frequency switching devices, anti-saturation diodes, snubber diodes, and free-wheeling diodes in converters and motor control circuits. They are also suitable for rectifiers in switch mode power supplies (SMPS), inductive heating and melting, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), and ultrasonic cleaners and welders. Their design offers low voltage peaks for reduced protection circuits, low noise switching, and low losses, enabling operation at lower temperatures or space saving through reduced cooling.
