The IXYS DSS 2x160-01A is a Power Schottky Rectifier designed for non-isolated applications. It features very low forward voltage (VF), extremely low switching losses, and low reverse recovery current (IRM-values), contributing to high reliability circuit operation. This rectifier is suitable for applications requiring low voltage peaks, reduced protection circuits, low noise switching, and low losses. Typical applications include rectifiers in switch mode power supplies (SMPS) and free-wheeling diodes in low voltage converters.
