Precautions
- Pre-testing: It is essential to pre-test products to confirm suitability for the intended use.
- Storage: Unopened products are valid for 2 months. Store in environments 30 and 60% RH. After opening, use within 24 hours or store in 30 and 10% RH.
- Moisture Handling: Check humidity indicator card. If humidity is >30%, baking (655 for 24H) is required before use.
- ESD Protection: Minimize friction, ensure all equipment is grounded, operators wear anti-static bracelets, and workstations maintain
- Handling: Do not touch the silicone lens surface. Handle by the side surfaces with forceps or appropriate tools. Avoid scratching or rubbing the epoxy resin encapsulation.
- Soldering: Reflow soldering should not be done more than once. Avoid stress on the APD during heating. Manual soldering:
- Cleaning: Recommended use of alcohol after soldering (30 for 3 min, or 50 for 30 sec). Verify compatibility of other solvents.
- Repair: Repairing after reflow soldering is not recommended. If unavoidable, use a double-head soldering iron and confirm no damage to APD characteristics.
