They are ideally suited for high voltage, high frequency rectification, or as free-wheeling and protection diodes in compact and lightweight surface mount applications. Key features include a small, compact surface mountable package with J-bend leads, a rectangular package for automated handling, a high-temperature glass-passivated junction, and a low forward voltage drop.
