The RHRP1540 and RHRP1560 are hyperfast diodes featuring soft recovery characteristics. With half the recovery time of ultrafast diodes, these devices utilize silicon nitride passivated ion-implanted epitaxial planar construction. They are designed for use as freewheeling/clamping diodes and in various switching power supplies and other power switching applications. Their low stored charge and hyperfast soft recovery minimize ringing and electrical noise in power switching circuits, leading to reduced power loss in switching transistors.
