This Schottky Power Rectifier, surface mount device, utilizes a large area metal-to-silicon power diode with Schottky Barrier principle. It is ideally suited for low voltage, high frequency rectification, or as free-wheeling and polarity protection diodes in surface mount applications where compact size and weight are critical. Its small size makes it ideal for portable and battery-powered products. Typical applications include AC-DC and DC-DC converters, reverse battery protection, and "O-ring" of multiple supply voltages.
