RS16xxHxF Series 16A TRIACs
The RS16xxHxF Series are high current density TRIACs featuring double mesa technology and glass passivation, with a guaranteed maximum junction temperature of 150C. These TRIACs are suitable for general-purpose AC switching applications, including ON/OFF functions in static relays, washing machines, soymilk makers, flush toilets, hair dryers, and induction motor starting circuits. They can also be used for phase control operations like light dimmers and motor speed controllers. The RS1610H, RS1620H, RS1635H, and RS1650H models are 3-quadrant TRIACs, specifically recommended for use with inductive loads. The RS16xxHxF series comes in full pack plastic packaging, providing 2000V RMS isolation voltage from all three terminals to an external heat sink.
