The RS16xxHxF Series 16A TRIACS from SIKA CO.,LIMITED offer high current density due to double mesa technology and glass passivation, with a guaranteed maximum junction temperature of 150C. These TRIACS are suitable for general purpose AC switching and phase control operations. Applications include static relays, washing machines, soymilk makers, flush toilets, hair dryers, and induction motor starting circuits, as well as light dimmers and motor speed controllers. The RS1610H-1620H-1635H-1650H variants are 3-quadrant TRIACS, specifically recommended for inductive loads. The RS16xxHxF series features full pack plastic encapsulation, providing a 2000V RMS isolation voltage from all three terminals to an external heat sink.
