Product Overview
The RS16xxHxF Series are 16A TRIACs featuring high current density due to double mesa technology and glass passivation, with a guaranteed maximum junction temperature of 150C. These triacs are suitable for general purpose AC switching, offering ON/OFF functions in applications like static relays, washing machines, soymilk makers, flush toilets, hair dryers, and induction motor starting circuits, or for phase control operation in light dimmers and motor speed controllers. The RS1610H-1620H-1635H-1650H models are 3-quadrant triacs, specifically recommended for inductive loads. The RS16xxHxF series comes in full pack plastic packages, providing 2000V RMS isolation voltage from all three terminals to an external heat sink.
