The RS1608 Series TRIACs from SIKA CO.,LIMITED offer high current density due to double mesa technology, SIPOS, and Glass Passivation. These devices are designed for AC switching and can be used for both ON/OFF functions and phase control operations. Applications include static relays, heating regulation, induction motor starting circuits, light dimmers, and motor speed controllers. The RS1608A/B-SW, -CW, and -BW variants are 3-quadrant TRIACs, specifically recommended for inductive loads. The RS1608A series features internal isolation, providing a 2500V RMS isolation voltage from all three terminals to an external heat sink.
