The RS0806A/RS0806B Series 8A TRIACs are designed for general-purpose AC switching applications. They feature internal isolation providing 2500V RMS isolation voltage and high current density due to double mesa technology. These triacs are suitable for ON/OFF functions, phase control, and are specially recommended for inductive loads. Available in SIPOS and Glass Passivation, they are ideal for use in static relays, heating regulation, light dimmers, and motor speed controllers, including induction motor starting circuits.
