L6221 Quad Darlington Switch
The L6221 monolithic quad Darlington switch is designed for high current, high voltage switching applications. It features four non-inverting inputs with a common enable control, offering output voltages up to 50 V and output currents up to 1.8 A. The device boasts very low saturation voltage and TTL-compatible inputs, making it suitable for direct connection to logic circuits. Each switch includes an open-collector Darlington transistor and an integral fast recirculation diode for handling inductive loads. The emitters are commoned, and any number of inputs and outputs can be paralleled for increased current handling capability.
