The Skyworks SMV2201-SMV2205 series are surface mount silicon hyperabrupt tuning varactor diodes designed for wide bandwidth, low-loss applications. These diodes feature high Q, low series resistance, and a high capacitance ratio at low reverse voltage, making them suitable for low phase noise Voltage Controlled Oscillators (VCOs) in wireless systems up to and above 2.5 GHz. They are also ideal for wide range voltage-tuned phase shifters and filters. The series is supplied in industry-standard 0402 footprints and is rated MSL1, 260 C per JEDEC J-STD-020.
