I. Basic Model Adaptation Information
Engine Models: JL478QEN (China National Stage V 1.6L Gasoline Direct Injection), JL478QEP (China National Stage VI 1.6L Gasoline Direct Injection). Both are Blue Whale naturally aspirated engines on the same platform with 16-valve DOHC DVVT technology. One set of sealing kit is compatible with overhaul kits for both models (Autohome).
Applicable Vehicle Models:
JL478QEN: Changan Eado, Eado V7, Eado XT, Oshan A600, Oshan Koshan 1.6L (2016-2018 China National Stage V)
JL478QEP: Eado PLUS, CS35PLUS, Oshan X5, Oshan A800, Cosay 5 1.6L (Post-2018 China National Stage VI)
Key Distinction Notes: Only compatible with 478QEN/478QEP direct injection engines. The cylinder head gasket oil passages and fuel injector sealing rings of older JL478QEE, JL473 and 476 series are not interchangeable; cross assembly is prohibited.
