Engine Model:

G4FG 1.6L Gamma II, a 16-valve DOHC all-aluminum naturally aspirated multi-point fuel injection engine with dual intake and exhaust CVVT. It is equipped with a VIS variable intake manifold and an internal oil pump, and is an upgraded model complying with China National Stage V emission standards.

Applicable Models:

• Hyundai: Elantra 2016-2018, i30, ix25, Verna, Verna RIO, Creta 1.6L
• Kia: K3, Forte, Soul, KX3, Ceed, Rio

Distinguishing Features:

The G4FG model is exclusively designed for dual CVVT systems, while the older G4FC only features single intake CVVT. Modifications have been made to the intake manifold, VVT sealing rings, oil passage layout and cylinder head gasket oil holes. Its overhaul kits are completely incompatible with those for G4FC, G4FA and G4FD, and cross-model assembly is prohibited.
