️ What Makes It "Corona Resistant"?
The Q(ZY/XY)BP-2/200 is engineered with a nanomodified dual-layer insulation — a THEIC-modified polyesterimide base coat combined with a polyamideimide (PAI) topcoat embedded with uniformly distributed nanoparticles. This advanced polymer structure significantly suppresses partial discharge (corona) caused by high-frequency PWM voltage spikes, extending motor life in inverter-driven applications.

Product Description
The CHINGCUNG Q(ZY/XY)BP-2/200 Corona-Resistant Enamelled Copper Wire is a premium inverter-duty magnet wire designed for variable frequency drive (VFD) motors. Its nanomodified dual insulation system — THEIC-modified polyesterimide base plus PAI topcoat with nanoparticles — provides superior resistance to partial discharge (corona), a common failure mode in PWM-controlled motors.
Compared to standard Q(ZY/XY)-2/200, the BP version offers significantly extended service life in inverter-driven applications, making it the preferred choice for electric vehicle traction motors, industrial servo motors, and HVAC compressor drives.
Corona Resistance Performance
|
What is Corona? Corona discharge is a partial breakdown of air caused by high-voltage spikes in PWM waveforms. It generates ozone and heat, gradually eroding the insulation film. |
How BP Technology Works Uniformly dispersed nanoparticles create a 3D barrier network that dissipates charge accumulation, reducing the intensity of partial discharges and preventing insulation degradation. |
✅ Typical Test Condition: 20 kHz, 100 ns rise time, 50% duty cycle, ±1500V @ 155°C — ≥ 800 hours without failure (based on accelerated aging tests).
