Crossed Strap Flip Flops with Tan Footbed | Source Factory Supply
A thong that keeps its upper to a minimum. Two narrow straps cross once at the vamp, lock at a twisted loop and drop into the toe post, so the foot stays open on three sides. The footbed is molded in tan over a ribbed sole edge, and every colorway shares that same footbed.

Key Design Features
1. One continuous strap path. The upper is a single run of strap: it enters at the left side, crosses the vamp, loops at the center and continues as the toe post. There is no second material layered on top, which means far fewer places for the upper to come apart than on a band sandal with a stitched or bonded overlay.
2. Twisted loop at the crossing. Where the two straps meet, the material turns back on itself into a small twisted loop. It is a single molded turn rather than a tied knot, so the shape stays the same after packing and does not work loose in wear.
3. Rounded toe last. The forefoot is cut round rather than squared. On a thong this matters more than on a band sandal, because the toes are fully exposed and the sole outline is what the eye reads first.
4. Tan footbed across every colorway. The footbed is molded in tan regardless of whether the upper is tan, black or white. That is a deliberate choice for markets with dust and strong sun: a tan bed does not show the marks that a white or pale bed collects in the first week of wear.
5. Ribbed sole edge. The sidewall carries fine horizontal ribs. They break up the thickness of the sole so the pair reads lighter on shelf, and they give the edge a finished line instead of a plain cut.
6. Shallow heel cup. The back of the footbed rises slightly to hold the heel. On a thong with no back strap, that small rise is what stops the foot from sliding back on a loose fit.

Why Importers Choose This Product
Fewer parts means fewer returns. Most thong failures we see come back are not sole failures, they are upper failures at a joint. This upper has one crossing and one post junction. There is simply less to go wrong, and less to explain to a customer who has had a pair come apart.
The tan footbed does the maintenance work. In markets with dust, a pale footbed looks tired within days of purchase, and that is what the customer photographs. A tan bed holds its appearance through a full season with nothing but a wipe, which protects the reorder rather than the first sale.
Three uppers on one footbed. Every colorway is built on the same tan sole unit, so the color matrix is three SKUs deep on one mold. You can place a narrower color range at a deeper quantity, which is how a chain buyer usually wants to write a first order.
It reads as a basic, and it prices like one. No ornament, no stone setting, no second material. The cost sits in the mold and the strap, not in decoration, so the pair can hold a low shelf price without the buyer having to defend a value story.
Open upper, hot climate. Three sides of the foot are uncovered. For West Africa, the Gulf and South Asia, that is the difference between a pair that gets worn daily and a pair that gets worn once.
Packs flat, ships dense. With no bow, no ornament and no raised platform, the pairs nest tightly in the carton. Carton count per container goes up, and freight cost per pair comes down.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the minimum order quantity?
1,800 pairs per order. That covers one size range and up to three colors.
Are samples available before ordering?
Yes. Sample pairs are made to your color and logo, and the sample fee is refundable against the bulk order.
How long does production take?
15 to 25 days after sample approval, depending on quantity and color split.
Is the twisted loop a tied knot?
No. It is a molded turn in the strap, so it holds its shape through packing and does not come undone in wear.
Why is the footbed tan on the white and black versions?
It is a deliberate choice. A tan bed hides dust and scuffing that a pale bed shows within days, so the pair keeps its appearance through the season.
Can the footbed be a different color?
Yes, on request. We usually advise against pale beds for dry, dusty markets and will tell you if we think a color will cause trouble on shelf.
How many colorways are there?
Three uppers: tan, black and white. All three sit on the same tan sole unit.
What sizes do you make?
EU 36-41 as standard. Other ranges can be quoted.
How much does one pair weigh?
Approximately 400 g. We confirm the exact figure against your specification before production.
Can we add our logo?
Yes. Debossed or printed on the footbed, or printed on the strap. Artwork is approved before tooling.
Can the strap width be changed?
Within the existing mold range, yes. A wider change that needs a new mold is quoted separately.
Is the sole hard or soft?
The compound hardness is specified per order. Tell us the feel your market expects and we will match it.
Will the strap stretch over time?
PVC strap at the specified hardness holds its length in normal wear. The post junction is pull tested on every batch because that is the load point.
How do I clean them?
Wipe with water and a soft cloth. Avoid solvent cleaners, which dull the matte surface.
Are they suitable for daily wear?
Yes. This is a basic thong built for everyday use rather than a seasonal statement piece.
Can I mix colors in one container?
Yes, within the MOQ and the size range.
What is the payment term?
T/T, 30 percent deposit and 70 percent before shipment.
What is the trade term?
EXW. Other terms can be discussed.
Do you check quality before shipment?
Yes. AQL 2.5 on packed cartons, with the defect rate held below 0.5 percent on shipped orders.
How many pairs fit in a container?
It depends on your pack size and color split. Send us the details and we will return a loading plan.
Can you match a sample I already have?
Send the pair or clear photos with dimensions. We will tell you whether it can be matched on an existing mold or needs a new one.
Do you make this in other materials?
The line is PVC. EVA versions are made on separate molds and are quoted as a different item.
How long have you been exporting?
Since 2006, to more than 100 countries.
Can I reorder the same color later?
Yes. Colors are recorded against your item number so a reorder matches the original run.
