Can I choose which stone colours are used?

Not stone by stone. The five-colour mix is applied to a fixed layout, so the ratio is set. A controlled ratio, such as clear-only or two tones, is a separate specification and needs its own quotation.

Are the stones real?

They are faceted synthetic stones in coloured glass. They hold their colour, and they are glass-hard rather than diamond-hard.

What if one stone is missing?

It shows. The layout is regular, so a gap is visible from arm's length. That is why the count is inspected per pair rather than per carton, and why a spare pair is more useful to a retailer than a bag of stones.

Will the gold ring wear?

Plating wears from the high point, which on a ring is the outer rim. It does not touch the foot, so it holds better than a buckle, but a plated rim is not a permanent finish.

Is the footbed real wood?

No. It is a PVC footbed with a plank print. It does not absorb water and does not swell, but the print is a print and the heel end is where it fades first.

Does the print wear on the heel?

Yes, before anywhere else. The heel is where the foot moves most against the face, so it is the area to look at on a worn sample rather than the toe.

Can the band be adjusted?

No. There is no buckle and no elastic, so the fit is set by the size.

Which colour shows dirt first?
