6*37+FC 10mm 12mm 16mm Tower Crane Wire Rope For Lifting Slings
The 6×37 galvanized steel wire rope features a classic structural design composed of 6 steel wire strands with 37 thin steel wires per strand. The surface is galvanized to form a corrosion-resistant protective layer, typically paired with a fiber rope core. This model employs a point contact structure with multiple layers of fine wire winding, combining excellent flexibility with superior fatigue resistance. The galvanized coating makes it suitable for corrosive environments including humid and outdoor conditions, making it widely applicable for lifting machinery, transportation, engineering construction, and fishery aquaculture. While offering exceptional performance, its wear resistance is slightly weaker compared to thick wire structured steel wire ropes, requiring regular testing and maintenance under long-term impact loads.

37 steel wires are wound into strands in multiple layers, featuring thicker outer wires and thinner inner wires to achieve an optimal balance between flexibility and wear resistance.
Different layers of steel wires maintain point contact with each other, resulting in more uniform stress distribution when subjected to loading forces.
Typically utilizes fiber rope cores (natural or synthetic fibers), with steel cores reserved for select heavy-duty scenarios. The fiber core effectively stores lubricating grease, significantly extending the service life of the steel wire rope.
Common applications for 6×37 structure, 10-22mm diameter galvanized steel wire rope include:
- Lifting Machinery: Lifting mechanisms for construction tower cranes, port cranes, and gantry cranes
- Transportation: Cable cars, cableways, ship mooring, and truck towing operations
- Engineering Construction: Bridge erection, hydraulic engineering projects, and mining lifting applications
- Fishery Aquaculture: Fixed trawl fishing boats and aquaculture net cage installations
Our steel wire rope meets international production standards and has obtained multiple certifications including SGS, CE, and ISO.
