Product Description
Greenhouses, pergolas and wall gardens increasingly use rope rather than single wire to guide climbing plants. The practical seven by seven braided core distributes load across multiple wires, supporting mature climbers without stretching while resisting the fatigue that causes single strands to snap after seasons of wind and growth. The PVC jacket provides additional benefits by keeping moisture off the galvanized steel, protecting plants from chafing during growth, and maintaining a tidy appearance against timber or render. Coated to approximately 4.5mm, it securely fits standard clips and vine eyes without slipping. Available in green or black with coil lengths designed for trellis runs, hanging baskets, and shade structures, matching trade specifications.
Key Features
- Braided 7x7 Core: Multiple small wires distribute load, supporting heavy climbers without stretching
- Fatigue Resistant: Braided construction outlasts single strands that work-harden and snap from seasonal movement
- Weatherproof Jacket: PVC coating protects galvanized core from rain and prevents plant chafing
- Neat Appearance: Green or black coating provides deliberate, professional look on timber, brick, and render
- Secure Fitting: 4.5mm coating ensures proper seating in vine eyes, clips, and turnbuckles without slipping
- Specification Matched: Color, diameter, and coil length produced to match buyer's trellis and basket programs
