Clear Water Black Phenolic Plywood High Turnover Customizable 18mm
Film Faced Plywood Introduction
Black film faced plywood, officially called black phenolic film-faced plywood, is a commonly used concrete molding form in construction. It combines a black waterproof film on the surface with a solid wood plywood base, giving it high reusability, smooth concrete finishes, and no need for plastering. It's widely used in all kinds of building, municipal, and bridge projects. The finished boards have all four edges coated with a special waterproof edge-sealing paint to seal the cut edges and gaps, preventing moisture from causing delamination, warping, or glue failure. Complete edge sealing and an even paint finish are basic requirements for a qualified product.
Film Faced Plywood Classification
Black & Brown Phenolic Film Plywood (PF glue)
covered with 120–220g/㎡ phenolic paper and bonded with WBP waterproof glue. Resists rainwater immersion with service cycles from 8 to 25 times, the dominant export item for Middle East, Africa and Southeast Asia markets.

Film Faced Plywood Advantages
- High Cycle Reusable Normally rotates 10-20 times,Compared to traditional red formwork and bamboo plywood, the cost per use is much lower, making it a great value for large-scale construction sites.
- No Secondary Plaster After the regular walls, beams, and columns are formed, there's no need to do a second layer of cement mortar for leveling—you can go straight to painting, tiling, installing the ceiling, and other follow-up work.
- Waterproof, corrosion-resistant, and weather-resistant Not afraid of rain or construction water accumulation, the advantages for basements, foundation pits, and rainy season construction are obvious,Resistant to the alkaline corrosion of cement slurry, won't get corroded or powdery even after long-term contact with concrete.
- Excellent workability Can be cut with a regular chainsaw, after nailing and removing nails, the boards are not prone to cracking, and the formwork is solidly reinforced.
- Structurally stable, not easy to deform or crack The high-temperature and high-pressure gluing process makes the board very sturdy, so during pouring and vibrating, there’s no local bulging, cracking, or leaking of slurry.
