I. Overview
The paddle rake dryer is an indirect heat-conduction type vacuum drying equipment that combines a rake-type agitator with hollow paddle heating structure. It is suitable for drying pastes, slurries, filter cakes, and highly viscous materials, and is widely used in the chemical, pharmaceutical, environmental protection, and food industries. The horizontal cylindrical chamber contains a hollow main shaft, on which heating hollow paddles and rake teeth are alternately mounted. A steam jacket surrounds the outer wall of the cylinder, and the heat transfer medium flows through both the jacket and the internal channels of the paddles, transferring heat via contact surfaces, thus achieving high thermal efficiency.
