The universal grinder, also known as a multi-purpose grinder or high-efficiency grinder, is a versatile grinding machine with a wide range of applications. It is widely used in industries such as food processing, chemical manufacturing, pesticides, and traditional Chinese medicine, suitable for coarse, medium, or fine crushing of dry soft and hard materials. 

Its working principle is based on high-speed impact and shearing action. The equipment mainly consists of a housing, fixed tooth plate, moving tooth plate (or hammer/blades), screen mesh, and main shaft. During operation, the motor drives the main shaft to rotate the moving tooth plate at high speed. Material fed through the hopper is subjected to intense impact, shearing, and friction between the rapidly rotating moving teeth and the fixed tooth plate, resulting in rapid crushing into fine particles. The ground material is discharged through the bottom screen under the combined effect of centrifugal force and airflow. Particle fineness can be adjusted by replacing screens with different aperture sizes (typically ranging from 20 to 150 mesh).
