Product Introduction
Such joint sealants are divided into two series: hotelt modified asphalt type and cold-applied polyurethane/silane-modified polymer type. In addition to being suitable for road scenarios, they can also cover multi-scenario sealing operations such as bridge expansion joints, airfield runway joints, underground engineering gaps, and roof filling joints. Some special-form products can be constructed normally in extremely low temperature environments of -60℃.
Product Features
Excellent waterproof sealing performance, does not come unstuck or dissolve in when exposed to water. Some cold-pouring products do not need heating or pre-cracking of joints; they can be directly poured after the joints, with surface drying achieved in 30 minutes, and traffic can opened immediately after spreading fine sand. Function Introduction
Forms a fully enclosed elastic sealing layer for various engineering joints, completely water and corrosive media from penetrating into the interior of the structure. It can adapt to the expansion and contraction deformation of joints caused by temperature changes, problems such as debonding, cracking, leakage, etc., and protecting the structural safety of heavy-load infrastructure such as bridges and airportways.
Construction Steps
1. Thoroughly remove dust, water and loose debris the joint, and ensure the joint walls are clean and dry .
2. For hot-melt products, heat and melt according to specifications before pouring for cold-pour products, stir thoroughly and evenly after opening the package before use .
3. Pour evenly along the gap, ensure the adhesive completely fills the bottom of the gap for wide gaps, pour in batches to avoid sagging .
4. Sprinkle fine sand on the surface to prevent wheel sticking; coldour products can open to traffic immediately, while hot-melt products can be put into use after cooling.
