Compact Slurry Conditioning Tank for Reagent Mixing
Compact Slurry Conditioning Tank for Reagent Mixing
The Compact Slurry Conditioning Tank for Reagent Mixing is a 10 m³ conditioning unit for small and medium concentrators where floor space and reagent control matter in equal measure. It blends flotation reagents with ore pulp before the pulp reaches the flotation circuit, so collectors, frothers and regulators coat mineral surfaces evenly and the downstream cells run at a stable, predictable grade.
Key Advantages
- Space-efficient 10 m³ body that fits compact concentrator layouts without crowding the flotation bank
- Even reagent distribution for consistent flotation conditions from the first cell to the last
- Cone or flat bottom to match your existing foundation and piping
- Paddle or propeller impeller for gentle, thorough pulp circulation
- Wear-resistant polyurethane wear parts that reduce spare-part spend
Working Principle
A belt-driven impeller turns at 174 r/min and lifts pulp from the tank bottom while reagent is added at the feed point. The circulation pattern keeps solids in suspension and gives the reagent the residence time it needs before flotation begins.
Applications
- Small copper and gold concentrators
- Lead-zinc and polymetallic plants
- Pilot and modular flotation circuits
- Reagent mixing ahead of rougher flotation
Why Choose This Unit
For operators running a compact plant, the value is in conditioning reagents properly without oversizing equipment. This 10 m³ tank pairs naturally with small BF or JJF flotation circuits, is built to ISO9001 standards by Y&X, and can be supplied to standard or custom specification.
