Disconnector
Every polymeric housed lightning arrester and porcelain housed lightning arrester can put up the disconnector.The disconnector is equipped with the insulation base. The top bolt of disconnector is directly connected with the bottom of lightning arrester, the below bolt is connected with ground lead.
The disconnector shall break away automatically at the fault current while the lightning arrester failure under the abnormal conditions and the failed lightning arrester will be separated.
Note:The last “L” in the designation means the disconnector. Such as YH10W-24L means that the disconnector has be equipped in the lightning arrester of YH10W-24. If the disconnector isn’t equipped, “L” no appears.

Insulating Bracket
For polymeric housed lightning arrester, if installed the disconnector, it must install the insulating bracket with it.
For porcelain housed lightning arrester, either it installs the disconnector or not, installing the insulating bracket is out of consideration.
Dustproof Cap
For polymeric housed lightning arrester, installing the dustproof cap is on your consideration.
For porcelain housed lightning arrester, installing the dustproof cap is out of consideration.
