Mu-metal Hymu80 is well known for its high performance in Magnetic Shield. It is widely used for shielding to protect electrical components from stray magnetic fields.

HYMU 80 alloy is an unoriented, NiFeMo alloy with 80% Nickel content. It could be heat treated to show very high initial permeabilities, maximum permeabilities, minimum hysteresis loss and AC core losses at low magnetic flux densities.
