Custom 465 is a martensitic, premium-melted staineless stell alloy with a high concentration of nickel and chromium. It is known to have improved tensile strength and fracture toughness, which makes it an excellent choice for aerospace components that require these properties.
Custom 465 was first used in the air industry in 1997. It was then widely used for aircraft structural components, such as engine fittings, aircraft flaps rails, actuators, landing gear components, and similar components. Due to its unique and excellent mechanical properties and comprehensive corrosion resistance, the alloy is also used in medical equipment manufacturing and obtains widely good applications.
Custom-465 has been widely used in the medical device industry, because of its extremely excellent strength and toughness, allowing the device to withstand great torque during surgery.
