Application:

It is applicable to the test of electric and electronic products, household appliances and their materials for resistance to electric trace and corrosion. Under the power frequency (48Hz - 62Hz) or the corresponding DC voltage, liquid pollutants and inclined samples are used to evaluate the resistance to electric trace and corrosion of electrical insulation materials used under severe environmental conditions through the measurement of resistance to electric trace and corrosion.

Sample preparation:

① The sample shall be processed into flakes with a thickness of 6mm and a size of 50 × 120mm, and the electrode mounting hole is drilled, and a reference mark line is made at 45mm of the lower edge of the sample.
② Clean the sample with distilled water or deionized water to make its surface free of any dirt. If the sample surface is smooth, it should be polished slightly. The specific method is to polish the sample with 1500#.

Configuration of contaminated liquid:

① . Concentration requirements for contaminated solution: use distilled water to prepare a mixed solution of (0.1 ± 0.002)% analytical pure NH4Cl (ammonia chloride) and (0.02 ± 0.002)% isooctyl phenoxy Polyethoxyethanol non-ionic wetting agent.
② . Preparation method of contaminated solution: add 2000ml distilled water to the measuring cup, weigh 2G of NH4Cl analytical pure solid and 0.4g of isooctyl phenoxy Polyethoxyethanol with a balance, add them to the distilled water, and stir them evenly with a glass rod.
