1. Introduction
The universal spring hammer test apparatus is adjustable to peform IK01 (0.14J), IK02 (0.2J), IK03 (0.35J), IK04 (0.5J), IK05 (0.7J) and IK06 (1J) tests. It can meet the test requirements of IEC62262 and IEC60068-2-75. The spring hammer consists of the body, the striking element and the release system. The striking element for severities not exceeding 1J is made of polymide, and has a mass of 250g. The pressure to release the striking element shall not exceed 10N. The spring hammer can be used in any position. Spring hammer is used to assess the strength of the accessories of household appliances and electronic and electrical products against to mechanical impact.
