IEC 60884-1 Figure 38 Compression Test Apparatus for Verifying Cover of Moveable Socket-Outlet, Electrical Accessories and Surface Type Mounting Box Resistance to Heat
1. Introduction
Apparatus for compression test is designed according to IEC60884-1 clause 25.4 and figure 38, it is applied to verification the compression resistance performance in heating of cover of moveable socket-outlet, electrical accessories and surface type mounting box. The test apparatus shall work with oven, the specimen should be pre-heated by the oven. 20N force is applied to specimen via the jaws for 1 hour, and the specimen can not be damage.
