This 0.5J spring hammer is designed for performing impact tests on appliance inlets designed for surface-mounting and the insulating material shrouds of plug connectors and appliance outlets. The hammer is engineered according to IEC60068-2-75 test Ehb standards, featuring a hammer head with a hemispherical polyamide face with a radius of 10mm.
Application Standards
As per standard IEC60320-1 clause 23.4, the test sample is rigidly supported and 12 impacts are applied, with three impacts at each of four locations chosen to include the weakest points.
