1. Introduction

The IK vertical impact test apparatus is an impact detection device for materials such as shells or glass. It is manufactured in accordance with the requirements of IEC60068-2-75, GB/T2423.55, IEC62262, and GB/T20138 standards. It is mainly used for impact tests on non-metallic material specimens or products such as plastics, glass, and ceramics. It is a test instrument for evaluating the impact resistance of materials. According to the IK impact standards IEC62262 and GB/T20138, the vertical impact test device can contains five impact elements: IK07, IK08, IK09, IK10 and IK11. The electromagnet attracts the hammer, releases the hammer head through the trigger device, and vertically drops to impact the test sample (EUT). The impact test apparatus is often used in lighting standards for impact tests on non-tempered glass. It mainly includes 5 impact hammer, control box, bracket casters, and an electronic control device.
