The suspended luminaire torque test device is a specialized equipment tailored to comply with IEC60598-1 clause 4.14.1 (test B), focusing on evaluating the safety performance of mechanical suspension devices for rigid suspension luminaires under constant torque forces.
A torque of 2.5Nm is applied to the luminaires for a period of 1 min, first in a clockwise and then in an anticlockwise direction. For the test, it shall not be possible to rotate the luminaire relative to the fixed part by more than one revolution in either direction.
Designed to verify whether the mechanical suspension structure of rigid suspension luminaires can maintain sufficient stability and safety when subjected to specified torque loads. Specifically assesses the anti-rotation capability of the luminaire relative to its fixed part under torque, ensuring the suspension system does not fail due to excessive rotation.
