The vertical hammer mechanical impact test apparatus meets the testing requirements of IEC60068-2-75 test Ehc and IEC62262 standards. This precision equipment is designed for mechanical impact testing across various energy levels from IK07 (2J) to IK11 (50J).
Equipment Overview
The apparatus consists of striking elements, guideways and a test rig. The striking elements for IK07 (2J) to IK11 (50J) are manufactured from steel, with the equivalent mass of the hammer equal to the actual mass of the striking element. The striking element falls along a guideway that does not rest on the specimen, ensuring the element is free from the guideway upon impact.
The test rig is constructed from aluminum alloy and features four wheels at the bottom, allowing the entire device to move freely. The vertical hammer configuration is ideal for impact points on accessible horizontal surfaces, with customizable travel height to accommodate various specimen sizes.
