1. Introduction
Power cord flexing test apparatus is designed according to GB4706.15 and IEC60335-2-23 clause 11.101, it is applied to do flexing test for appliance for skin or hair care with swivel connection.
2. Working Principle:
The hair care appliance with a swivel connection are positioned with their major axis horizontal, the supply cord hanging vertically. A pull force of 1N is applied to the supply cord. The appliance is supplied at rated voltage, and rotated about its major axis at a rated of approximately 50 rev/min, the direction of rotation being reversed every 20 revolutions, the test is carried out for 1500 revolutions. The temperature rise of the sliding contacts shall not exceed 65K.
