1. Introduction of Spring Hammer Test Apparatus:
The spring impact hammer consists of the body, the striking element and the release system. The body comprises the housing, the guide for the striking element, the release mechanism and all parts rigidly fixed thereto. The mass of this assembly is 250g for severities not exceeding 1J. IK ratings are defined as IKXX, XX is a number from 00 to 10 which indicates the degrees of protection by enclosures against external mechanical impacts. The different IK rating relate to the ability of an enclosure to resist impact energy levels measured in joules (J). It is designed according to IEC60068-2-75 Ehb etc.
