Besides all standard API grades, we can also supply special sour service grades, such as SS-95 and SS-105, which are manufactured to meet the most stringent service requirements of clients.
Along with the increasing of well depth of drilling, the more complex stratum will emerge, especially of the emerging of sulfur stratum which will harmfully impact the safety of well drilling operation. Once hydrogen sulfur emerges, drilling tools would break suddenly in a very short time period and it will be very harmful to well drilling operation. Pipe body, tool joint and welding line of sour service drill pipe must be tested against hydrogen sulfur. Yield strength of pipe body, tool joint and welding line is strictly limited between 724MPa~827MPa. Sour-service performance of pipe body and tool joint must be at least 85% SMYS, and at least 80%SMYS for welding line as per NACE 0177 Spec A.
