Top Drive Saver Sub is a kind of sub connected with Lower IBOP and drill pipe, mainly used in the top drive system. Not only acting as crossover sub, but also protecting lower IBOP. Top drive saver sub can be divided into general top drive saver sub and low temperature top drive saver sub.
Tiptop top drive saver subs are manufactured to customers request, based on API requirements. The top drive sub serves as the sacrificial element between the drill string and the tope drive, reducing any unwanted repair and maintenance costs. The top drive sub can easily be replaced or repaired in the event the lower pin threads become galled or damaged. These tools are manufactured from selected high quality bars of steel. All of our drill stem subs are manufactured in accordance with API specifications.
