There are three types of DCS drill collar slips: S, R and L. They can accommodate drill collars from 3’’ (76.2mm) to 14’’ (355.6mm) OD. The handling sizes can be adjusted by changing the quantity of inserts or slip body. It is manufactured in a structure of multi-segment pieces with firm structure, light weight, and large holding range, which is easy to fit the changing of the OD of the drill collar.
