Material 446 is a ferritic, heat resisting, stainless chromium steel.
Stainless alloy 446 has extremely good resistance to reducing sulphurous gases, as well as very
good resistance to oxidation in air.
446 stainless steel also has good resistance to oil-ash corrosion and resistance to molton copper, lead and tin.
