The test appliance conforms to IEC60335-2-9: 2016 “Household and similar electrical appliances - Safety - Part 2-9: Particular requirements for grills, toasters and similar portable cooking appliances” clause 19.101.
It is used to test toasters’ breaking capacity and endurance that toasters are operated at rated power input and under normal operation.
The switch on and off of the toaster is automatically realized by using the drive mechanism, after each test time, for six cycles of operation, the toaster is forced to cool to approximately room temperature. This test is carried out 500 times. The test equipment will stop testing automatically after the preset test times are reached.

Operation steps:
A. Preset the interval, test cycle and test time, preset the room temperature and press [RESET].
B. Insert the specimen plug into the socket of the test equipment, press the START button to start the timer, and when the interval display reaches the set value, the switch operator goes out. The system calculates one test cycle. When the switch operator turns on the toaster switch and the toaster begins to heat, the switch operator runs up to the upper limit position. After completing the preset test cycles (default 6), the system calculates the test time and turns on the fan to cool the toaster. After the test time reaches the preset value, the test equipment will stop testing.
