Felt leading roll is most used for paper machines, mainly in the wire section, dryer section, and press section. its main function is to pass wire cloth, and blankets. the surface covering of guide rolls is rubber, chroming, and the smooth roll used for dryer section. with the speed of paper machines improve and the width of paper increase, which requires the wall thickness more uniform, and higher requests for dynamic deflection to meet the needs of high speed paper machines

The raw materials for the chrome-plating rollers are seamless steel pipes or alloy steel. After heat treatment, machining, and fine grinding, the surface is plated with hard chrome and polished with abrasive belts, or plated with hard chrome and polished or made into a mirror surface.

The chrome-plated roller is mechanically rough processed to heat treated, and the surface hardness can reach HRC55-58. After mechanical turning, grinding, and electroplated hard chrome, the surface hardness can reach HRC62. The flatness, out-of-roundness, and coaxiality can be satisfied with customer requirements
