6. Quenched steel doctor blades used in the cylinder dryer of paper making machine
Doctor blades is the main part of the paper machine scraper which used for cleaning the rolls’ surface.
Scraper device
Components include: clamps, scraper blades, bearings, pressure and pressure relief devices, swinging devices.
Pressing part blade: a pressure roller blade to clean fine fibers and fillers, and a blade on the blanket guide roller to prevent dirt from contaminating the carpet, because the small fibers and fillers tend to transfer from the carpet to the smooth roller surface.
Drying blade: Press on the inlet and outlet of each group of dryers to remove paper breaks and dirt on the cylinder surface
