Road vehicles cable scrap abrasion tester is used to detect the insulation and abrasion resistance strength of road vehicles PVC insulation low voltage cables. It is an essential test instrument for automotive wire production.

This tester consists of a specially designed insulating surface reciprocating abrasion device which is along with the Specimen shaft, and a counter which is used to record the times and with reset function, when the needle scraping grinding through the insulator and touch the conductor, the device should stop automatically. Optionally stop during the test, and then restart. Specimen placement and force: the Specimen should not be moved during the test, in the state of motion, constant vertical force is on the Specimen
