General Introduction                                                                                                                             

This ASTM D1665 Engler Viscometer is designed in accordance with the Chinese national standard GB/T 266 "Determination of Engler Viscosity for Petroleum Products" and the industry standard JTG E20 "Test Methods of Bitumen and Bituminous Mixtures for Highway Engineering," specifically method T0622 "Bitumen Engler Viscosity Test (Engler Viscometer Method)." It is used to measure the ratio of the time (in seconds) taken for a liquid to flow out from the Engler viscometer under specified temperature and volume conditions to the time taken for distilled water to flow out at 20°C. This ratio is defined as the Engler viscosity of the liquid, expressed in degrees Engler.
 
The instrument can simultaneously test two samples under the same temperature conditions and calculate the average flow time, making it an ideal device for determining the Engler viscosity values of petroleum and bituminous products.
