General Introduction                                                                                                                             

This Automatic Lubricating Oil Oxidation Stability Detector is designed and manufactured according to Method B of the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) D2272-2009 "Standard Test Method for Oxidation Stability of Lubricating Oils" and NBSHT 0193-2022 "Rotating Bomb Oxidation Test" standards. It is suitable for testing the oxidation stability of oils as specified in the standards at two temperature settings: 150°C or 140°C.
 
The Automatic Lubricating Oil Oxidation Stability Detector can evaluate the oxidation stability of new and in-service steam turbine oils with identical compositions (base oils and additives). (For cases where test data precision is not critical, it may also be used to assess the oxidation stability of new mineral insulating oils containing 2,6-di-tert-butyl-p-cresol as a rapid evaluation method.)
