I. Coking Tendency Tester (also called Panel Coking Tester)
Used to evaluate the deposit-forming tendency of lubricating oils under high-temperature conditions.
The tester simulates the severe thermal environment inside an engine by spraying the oil onto a hot metal surface and measuring the mass of carbonaceous residue that forms; the result indicates the oil's thermal-oxidative stability and detergency-dispersancy performance.
Test principle:
The oil sample is first heated, then mechanically splashed onto an aluminium plate that is maintained at 310–320 °C. After a fixed test period the plate is removed and the mass of coke deposited on it is determined; the greater the deposit, the higher the coking tendency of the oil.

II.Feature
1.The digitally controlled panel coking test apparatus is suitable for finished lubricating oil.
2.The digital display heater independently controls the temperature of the test panel and the temperature of the oil tank. The mechanical splasher is equipped with digital display control, and the splashing speed range is 0-1800rpm.
3.The high-precision flowmeter allows the introduction of corrosive acid gas to increase the test accuracy.
4.The panel coking test apparatus is equipped with digital timer. The hinged safety cover is equipped with an exhaust port and a safety interlock switch. When the cover is raised, the interlock switch will cut off the power supply of the drive motor to ensure safe operation.
