I. Paraffin Carbonizable Substances Tester ASTM D612

This Paraffin Carbonizable Substances Tester is used to determine carbonizable substances in cosmetic, pharmaceutical and food-grade paraffin wax melting below 70℃. The molten sample is treated with chlorine-free concentrated sulfuric acid at 70℃. The color of the acid layer after reaction is compared against standard color solutions to obtain the test judgment.

  1. Standard colorimetric tubes, in accordance with ASTM requirements;
  2. A standard colorimeter;
  3. Imported Omron PID temperature controller, digital temperature display with a precesion of  ± 0.1 ℃;
  4. A separate timing system with an alarm.
