Basic principle:

Press a steel pressure pin with a certain shape into the surface of the sample vertically under the test force. When the surface of the pressure foot completely fits the surface of the sample, the tip of the pressure pin extends to the plane of the pressure foot. Length L, the size of Shore hardness is characterized by the value of L. The larger the value of L, the lower the Shore hardness, and the higher the hardness

Precautions:

1. The tip of the hardness tester is a conical tip. It is necessary to avoid strong contact between the pressure pin and the glass plate in order to protect the tip of the needle , otherwise the tip of the hardness tester may be damaged and the instrument may not be used normally.
2. The hardness tester should be strictly protected from falling and collision. When not using, please worn protective cover to protect the exposed end of the pressure pin.
3. When the hardness tester displays the undervoltage symbol BATT , please replace the battery in time and pay attention to the polarity of the battery.
4. When not using the Shore hardness tester, please cover the mounting hole of the hardness tester to prevent dust from entering the instrument.
